The love of Berners for each other whether young or old. Raku pieces are removed from the kiln when they reach 1400 degrees. And then plunged into a pit of combustible sawdust’s. The results create a stunning piece.

Ready to curl up on the couch with a good book? This lovely crocheted blanket was hand made by Sheila Jones. She invested hours of work on this. Aren’t the colors perfect? It measures 75”x53” and can be machine washed on the gentle cycle.

Noelle Zumoff does it again! This counted cross stitch from a photo taken by Lisa Kaufman contains 45,000 stitches using 75 colors of thread. It took 404 hours to complete. Notice the detail in the basket. It has been beautifully framed. It measures 22”x24”. And the puppy? Addy Cui’s Boy Qilin.

Beautiful felted Berner mother and puppy are surrounded by a copper wire wisteria vine covered in Czech glass seed beads. The scene is enclosed in an 11”x14” glass covered shadow box. Raime spent more than 40 hours completing this lovely work of art.

If you watch Antiques Roadshow, you’ll know this word. Collectible memorabilia. And this has some unusual Berner ephemera. This was purchased at the National Specialty by Cheryl Dickson’s husband more than 25 years ago. I’m glad she’s made it available for someone new to enjoy!
