Isaac is the dog that changed my life. He is my first Berner, generously placed in my care by his breeder Nancy Melone. He was my first show dog and still LOVES to show, especially as a veteran since people clap for him. We had an early highlight winning AOM at Westminster together and many more highlights since. Now his grand kids are living it up in the show ring and at home on our farm. Farm life suits him and he still runs around with the other dogs like he is a puppy. I have never felt so safe as I do when he is with me.
HICKORY'S EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
Owner: Vicki and Bruce Fallin
Jackson was named after Andrew Jackson who was called Old Hickory. I think it worked because he is still full of life. He has the biggest paws; Bruce says they are a size 15. He loves going to the office with his Dad greeting employees and visitors. Jackson keeps the other pups in the house in line. We are blessed to have this wonderful puppy.
HICKORY'S EXTRAORDINARY EXCALIBUR
Hugo is well -- just a little older and slower now at 10. He recently retired from serving as a dorm dog on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis where spread a lot of love to a lot of students especially during COVID. He is an amazing companion!!
Monument Mountain's Firebird V Fritz
Loved first by me and loved forever by Jenn. The royal Phoenix was dedicated to Jenn like no other. She was not a dog, and no one doubted her personhood. She taught other dogs how to be brave and to trust. A wonderful, kind soul forever treasured.
Ch BernerGarden's Black Eyed Peas
Fergalicious is a dream come true. She is my second generation breeding and everything I could have hoped for. She is a Top Producer of Chs, multiple Best in Sweeps both puppy and Veteran. VA Nationals she won Best Veteran in show AND an AOM. Her kids Ferguson and Bayley are amazing as well. Best of all, she wants to stay by my side at all times. She loves kayaking and walks and coming along. Mostly she just loves us!
Sandbarr's Sierra's Best Choice Sophia
Sophia is quite a spunky girl, with so much to say. She thinks she is the boss of the house, and will let you know it. She enjoys spending time with me and the grandkids, and chasing rabbits, and going for car rides. Loves ice cream and pupachinos from Starbucks
For many years Bijou was a therapy dog and comforted many people in hospitals, schools, and the community. She survived a diagnosis of lymphoma with wonderful veterinary care at UC Davis. She is retired from her therapy work, but is still a wonderful, friendly, and sweet companion. Ten years and counting!
Hickory's Gotcha in the Act
Lexington is a thief in every sense of the word. He steals food, toys, shoes, dishes, bread and most importantly HEARTS! He loves to rule the roost over his 3 year-old Berner sister. If she gets too rowdy, he chases her and tackles her to the ground. The neighbors all call him the most lovable meathead. He will also guard his family as fiercely as he loves us. He lets everyone in the vicinity know he has a job to do by screaming like a husky. They just laugh and walk on by with their pups. Lexington is my world and I know I’m his love.
Maddie has been a great friend. She is full of energy and always excited to see me. No matter what the day has been like, she always greets me at the door, so full of love, and I know everything everything is going to fine. I'm looking forward to many more years with my double digit puppy!
Dakota is a great companion who has continued to be healthy and to do well as she turned 10 years. I hope to continue to share my life with her.
Powder Keg Farm's Highland Magic
Rupert turned 10 on September 7th. He continues to be healthy. He has a new little brother, Rashford, from the same wonderful breeder, Powder Keg Farms.
Powder Keg Farm's Hidden Treasure
Sasha has never had a bad day in her life. She's always smiling and up for her daily walks to feed the horses. She had two litters of puppies, 11 the first litter and 4 with her second litter. They all have her wonderful disposition that she has. Such a sweet loving girl. Sasha is a great girl out of our grand champion, Beowulf, sire of many long lived Berners, and is still living .
