SINGING SANDS A MAN FOR HIS PEOPLE
Owner: lyndsey elliott
Our Maximus crossed the Rainbow Bridge today at 10 yrs and 28 days. We will treasure every moment with this beautiful boy. Mooski Rooski was the gentlest soul and my constant protector. He loved to stand watch over his surroundings and our household. He had the best facial expressions and absolutely had the best smile. He loved to slide up next to me on the couch, lean up against me and cuddle. His favorite position was on his back for belly runs or to lay on top of you and be as light as a feather. We'll miss you terribly Maxi Moomoos and love you with all our hearts.

Afterberner's Cool Your Jetts
Owner: John Simons
Boomer was the first Bernese for a family that had had Labrador Retrievers for years. They felt Boomer was so focused on his family that 2 years later they got his brother (from another litter). Thye have a large rural property with acres and acres of different terrain including an old quarry. Boomer loves to stand on the large rocks He is still active and welcomed a 5 year old Rescue Berner to the home --- well not at first but once he sensed Charlie's shy nature he taught him to be a Berner! Charlie had heartworms so he is just not getting fully healthy.

Afterberner's Chick Magnet
Owner: John Simons
Hugo moved to a pet home where there was a young family. Shortly after the home became a daycare with numerous children. He was loved by everyone, gentle and easy going. His best times though when he went on long walks, especially once the ground was frozen so they could wander in the marsh in the urban forest behind their home. He was enthralled watching the deer right there in his forest.

Black Rose Von Der Bernessehof
Owner: Cheryl Thornton
Rosie came to us at 18 months old after the death of her owner. She has been the love of our lives. She is a gentle giant. She filled a large hole in our hearts left by the deaths of two of our Berners within 2 weeks of each other. Not sure we would have survived that without her love and devotion. She is so sweet and everyone that meets her falls in love with her. We love you Rosie, with all our heart, and feel so incredibly happy to have been able to spend your 10th birthday with you. Here's to many more ahead.

Coburg Hills My Dream Come True CGC, CD, RE, OJP, OAP, TKN, FDC, NDD, WD, AD
Owner: Shirley Didier
Maya is my first Berner, my dream for 45 years and a handful with a mind of her own. My first exposure and immersion in formal training was necessary from the first weeks home. She hates anything involving a leash or harness but running is great fun so agility fit her perfectly. Lure coursing and scent work were started, herding provided great "sheep treats" (who cared about those animals in that ring) and any time mud was involved made her day. She's been a joy, a challenge, an eater of many uneatable things, a great companion, and still acts like a puppy. I've learned a lot.
