Murphy continues to do well as he ages. His orthopedics are great and he still can fly up and down the back steps to go in and out. He enjoys our daughters loving on him and going for long walks in town. He is thrilled to go for any car ride, especially with the family. I keep telling him he needs to live forever.

My name is Magi Mae.  I'm 11 1/2 and still spunky as ever. I love bath time, treats, cold weather, naps, and especially my family. I am one lucky Berner!Â

It is such a pleasure to still have Ziva with me. Even though she tries to beat me up when I come home. 2 days ago she won an Award of Merit at the IL Reg'l. She runs the yard and brings in all of the leaves her thick coat can hold. Then settles in for lots of snuggles. Thank you Kay Wendorf & Benita Theleen for breeding this girl and letting her live with me.

Emma was an angel of love and kindness. She had such a will to live with strength and courage. She beat the odds by surviving osteosarcoma for 5 1/2 years and living a quality life with only 3 legs. Emma finally succumbed to a tumor on her spleen. We will look back fondly on how Emma was famous in Steamboat for her happy, loving disposition.

Kaia has always been our special first Berner. Kaia is loving her golden years and still acts like the puppy we brought home. At almost 12 years old she enjoys running in the yard, scent work, pup cups, cuddles and she still makes appearances in the Veteran's Ring . She loves her people more than anything and she often smiles to show it! Kaia is the best “#1 girl, always and foreverâ€.
BERNERGARDEN'S FEELING GROOVY

At elven-and-a-half, Groovy's job still has not changed: Groovy loves Rick/Rick loves Groovy. Never grumpy, her goal in life is to ˜come along". Groovy is BernerGarden's Greeter and Breed Ambassador. She is an accomplished brewery companion and is masterful at looking hungrier than she is. Thank you for never getting tired of me. You are a true friend.
GLENMEGAN'S JUST PLAIN FEARLESS
Taylor is a very special girl and at 11.5 years old, she rules the household. She still enjoys going for walks and playing with her sister Brooklyn.

Bonny really likes to go for walks; she still does her rounds diligently. Mornings and evenings are both 1 hour on the road. Bonny is very stubborn, in old age she already resembles a billy goat. She likes to take a drive and even more to go on vacation. Here she is always spoiled even more. Bonny is a very loyal companion; she won't leave my side to chase a squirrel or rabbit. :-)

Essie is without doubt one of my all time favorites. Beautiful, smart, devoted, willing. I am so fortunate to have her daughter and grandson. She is missed every day but her memory lives on.
Hickory's Ride Sally Ride

We built a home in Las Vegas a few years ago so Salli spends part of the year there and the other part in the Bay Area. She seems to like the endless sunny days and I think the dry weather helps her old body. Wherever we are, she goes to the office every day and she's still a happy and healthy girl. We cherish every minute with her.
ALPSTADT'S LOVING THE WORLD TO PEACE

There is something so special about an old dog. As of this writing, Kori is about 11-1/2. We know her so well, she knows us so well. She has 100% trust in us. The bond with an older dog is precious. As you'll see in the photo, last summer Kori got her 15 minutes of fame on a local jumbotron. :)

Our sprightly ‘old lady', you would never know Gloree's age (she certainly doesn't act it) as she runs around the yard. Her exuberance persists in her veteran years, greeting everyone by standing between their legs and receiving her due attention. Every day she makes us laugh, and we hope for many, many more with her.
