Volunteers performing in a Chair position should request accompanying 'Chapters' from the Specialty Manual from the Show Chair.

BMDCA SUPPORT - BMDCA Specialty Coordinator and Committee
The BMDCA provides the following resources to each National Specialty Committee.
- - National Specialty Coordinator
Provides assistance with Host Hotel/Site Contract Negotiations, management of the Judges Selection Committee (JSC) process to develop the panel of breed judges, preparation of all judges contracts, and development and maintenance of the National Specialty Manual. - - National Specialty Website and Dedicated Specialty Website Designer/Web developer
State-of-the-art National Specialty website housed on the parent club's site provided at no charge, along with a talented graphic arts designer/webmaster to ensure consistent quality. - - Planning and Budget Development Chair
Provides expertise to Show Chairs on budgetary planning. - - National Conformation Chair
Provides conformation expertise on AKC regulations, assistance on the development of the Event Schedule, and preparation of Event Applications and Premium Lists for the main dog show. - - National Performance Chair
Provides expertise on all performance event regulations, assistance on the development of the performance Event Schedule, and preparation of all performance Event Applications and Premium Lists. - - National Specialty Treasurer
Manages the Specialty finances in accordance with BMDCA finance policies and prepares all final financial reports.

An AKC DNA profile number MUST be provided on the official entry form* for each Bernese Mountain Dog entered in any titling event at the National Specialty. AKC DNA kits can be obtained from the AKC Online Store at www.akc.org. STANDARD PROCESSING TIME IS 6-8 WEEKS AFTER RECEIPT SO DON'T DELAY!!!
