RESERVATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED STARTING ON JUNE 15, 2006.

RESERVATIONS MAY BE MADE ONLINE THROUGH THE BMDCA 2007 NATIONAL SPECIALTY WEBPAGE LINK TO THE EXECUTIVE INN. PLEASE NOTE ~ RESERVATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BEFORE JUNE 15. The web site link for host hotel reservations will be provided on June 15.
RESERVATIONS WILL ALSO BE ACCEPTED BY PHONE AT 1-800-626-2706 MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY 7:00AM – 11:00PM AND SUNDAY 9:00AM-11:00PM.

Reservations and room types will be honored on a “first come, first served” basis. Rooms with more than 4 guests will be subject to an additional $10.00 per person per night.

Rates quoted here are on a per night basis and include the 2006 15.01%. (Note: The tax rate in effect in 2007 will be the rate charged, so the total room rate quotes could change slightly.)

In addition, there will be a $75.00 damage deposit due upon check-in for rooms with dogs. Rooms will be inspected daily and at check out by staff for damages. 100% of the deposit is refundable following check out if there is no damage to the guestroom or furnishings.

All reservations are made on an individual basis – one credit card per room. All reservations require a credit card guarantee. A 30% deposit of total stay is due February 3, 2007. No rooms will be reserved without a deposit.

Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America 2007 Site Housekeeping Responsibilities for Members

1. All dogs left unattended in hotel rooms must be crated.
2. BMDCA will provide sheets of plastic to place under the crates. Up to four dogs will be permitted per room.
3. Housekeepers will not have to service rooms in which dogs are loose and unattended. Moreover, they will be required to report this rule violation to hotel management. A pet deposit of $75 will be charged for each room in which a dog is housed. 100% of this is refundable following checkout if there are no to the guestroom or its furnishing. Individual room occupants will be assessed for any damage or destruction to their room.
4. The hotel will provide sheets to place over the beds in guestrooms with dogs.
5. Dogs will be bathed in designated areas for dog washing.There will be no grooming of dogs in hotel rooms and no hotel towels will be used for this purpose.
6. Dogs will be groomed in the designated grooming area only. There will be no grooming of dogs in hotel rooms.
7.BMDCA will assign a liaison to meet daily with the Head of Housekeeping and hotel management to assure that all of its members are complying with hotel rules. Any offenders will be asked to leave hotel immediately.
8. Dogs will not be permitted in any of the hotel recreation areas, including the swimming pools, and any other areas to be stipulated as “non-dog” locations.
9. Dogs will not be permitted in food and beverage outlets, with the exception of those assisting the disabled.
10. BMDCA will work with hotel management to establish a sufficient number of dog walking/exercising areas for all BMDs and management will create a site map with the designated areas clearly marked. These areas will also be staked and marked with colored tape so it is evident where they are.
11.The hotel will provide trash receptacles in the designated exercised areas for deposit of waste.
12. BMDCA will provide plastic bags and appropriate scoops, etc. for the collection of waste.
13. Pick up and removal of waste will be the responsibility of each dog owner/handler. BMDCA will rent separate trash receptacles for the deposit of waste.
14. BMDCA will appoint a Grounds Committee to continuously monitor all exercise areas to assure that members comply with the rules.
